The Hawthorn Redbank Redbank Municipal Authority (HRRMA) meets the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30pm @ Hawthorn Sewage Plant Building.
The HRRMA manages the water & sewage services for Hawthorn, Oak Ridge, Sherman Heights and Fairmount City.

Hawthorn Area Fire Company meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm @ the Hawthorn Fire Hall
Hawthorn Fire Department located in Southern Clarion County Pennsylvania, is responsible for responding to emergency calls in Hawthorn borough, Redbank Township Clarion County and Redbank Township Armstrong County. On average the department runs 200 emergency calls a year, and respond to any type of fire or rescue call.
The department also has a certified QRS team that responds to all EMS calls in the departments coverage area, to assist the ambulance, and provide patient care before EMS arrival. The department has been around since 1956, and since then has been serving the community proudly.
The department is 100% volunteer and depends on community support from fund raisers, and donations. The department would like to thank the community for their support, and remember if you every have an emergency to dial 911.
New Bethlehem Fire Company meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm @ the New Bethlehem Fire Hall
Organized in 1879 under the name The Friendship Fire Association, the fire company was reorganized under the name New Bethlehem Fire Company #1 in 1904. It was again reorganized in 1932 under the name New Bethlehem Fire Company #1 and Relief Association.
It has served the borough of New Bethlehem and it’s surrounding area for many years. Since its formation two other companies have formed within a five mile area of New Bethlehem
The New Bethlehem Fire Company #1 covers the area of New Bethlehem Borough, Porter Township and parts of Redbank Township in Clarion County and South Bethlehem Borough in Armstrong County. It covers approximately 56.49 miles and is still a completely volunteer department.
Redbank Township Supervisors in Armstrong County meet at 7:00 pm the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the Township Office Building. The Township has no Zoning or Planning Commission.
Redbank Township is located in the northeast corner of Armstrong County. Redbank Creek forms the northern boundary of the township (and the Clarion County boundary), and Mahoning Creek forms the southern boundary. The eastern boundary is with Jefferson County and a small portion of Indiana County. To the west is Mahoning Township of Armstrong County.

Mahoning Township is located along the northern border of Armstrong County and is adjacent to the borough of South Bethlehem. The unincorporated communities of Distant and Putneyville are the largest settlements in the township. Redbank Creek forms the northern border of the township (the county line), and Mahoning Creek flows through the southern part of the township.

Redbank Township is in the southeastern corner of Clarion County and is bordered to the east by Jefferson County and to the south by Armstrong County and the borough of Hawthorn. The southern county boundary is formed by Redbank Creek, a west-flowing tributary of the Allegheny River. Directly across Redbank Creek to the south is a separate Redbank Township in Armstrong County.

Madison Township Meetings are the 1st Tuesday of the month, at the Madison Township Building at 5:00 PM.
Madison township is in southwestern Clarion County, bordered on the west by the Allegheny River, on the south by Redbank Creek, and on the southwest by Brady Township, which occupies a bend in the Allegheny River. Armstrong County is to the west and south, across the two water bodies. The borough of Rimersburg is on the northern border of the township.

Porter township is in southern Clarion County, bordered to the south by Redbank Creek, which forms the Armstrong County line. The borough of New Bethlehem touches the southeast corner of the township.

Historic New Bethlehem was incorporated in 1853. Clarion University, founded in 1867, offers more than 130 student organizations, including academic, athletic, intramural, Greek, political, multicultural, service, and special interest groups.
We’re an NCAA Division II school for men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports. Men’s sports are baseball, basketball, football, golf, swimming & diving, and wrestling. We’re a Division I school in wrestling. Women’s sports are basketball, golf, crosscountry, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

The Clarion Small Business Development Center provides consulting services and educational programs to entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their small business. Clarion University SBDC consultants work with entrepreneurs in confidential, one-to-one engagements to help them with a range of business issues including testing a new business proposition, shaping a business plan, investigating funding opportunities, and much more.
