Main Street program unveiled in Clarion County
CLARION – Main Street America came to Main Street Clarion County Tuesday to unveil a new pilot program to help entrepreneurs.
Clarion County as a whole was selected as one of 30 communities across the country to go through a pilot program with Main Street America creating, structuring and mapping the community’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“Today was sort of the first in-person kickoff for that,” said Jarred Heuer, executive director of the Clarion County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), at the day’s closing meeting. “We have been facilitating workshops, some Main Street one-on-one interviews to sort of get the lay of the land and meet some folks and sort of set the stage for what’s ahead in the weeks and months to come for the remainder of the E3 program.

This is a list of what I’m currently signed up for. Mark your calendars people! Get out and about this summer. Support your small town family businesses. I have been to both breweries many times as a casual patron and as a vendor. The beer is always good, the environment even gooder, family and pet friendly, and much more than just beer to drink. (I’ve made smash burgers for puppies before haha) Both places are wonderful.
I hear I am on the list for ALF in clarion as well but haven’t actually signed up yet and don’t know the dates. I’m excited for that. Should be fun!
We have some open dates for trailside takeout at the restaurant. If nothing else happens or we don’t get any large catering jobs those days we will be serving food out of the trailside windows. So keep your eye peeled for some spur of the moment updates. In this line of work things are always in flux.
Thanks everyone! Enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather this weekend. ... See MoreSee Less
