New team prepares for Hometown Hero banner program
NEW BETHLEHEM – The Hometown Hero Banner Project has become an annual tradition in the Redbank Valley area in only a few years.
But that tradition, which honors hundreds of the area’s military veterans, was at risk of disappearing after the banners were taken down last fall.
