EDUCATION: “Spanish 1 and 2 students completed Day of the Dead Altar projects (the boxes behind the students). The Altars are created to remember deceased loved ones for Nov 1 and 2. Students remembered deceased family members, friends or a celebrity of their choice. Altars are normally a table with items displayed to remember deceased loved ones. The boxes take up less space and are stacked on top of each other. The student is able to make the box his own with special offerings of their choice.”

Dr. Gordon V. Barrows, and American Legion Post 354. This special gift will help students understand respect and patriotism as part of the Veterans Day program. ❤️💙
Special thanks to Mrs. Kristen Landers and Principal Sandy Shirey for making this hands-on learning possible and for all they do for our students! 🙌
Mayor Barrows, a former student of Mrs. Landers, said, “It’s inspiring to see the community come together for our kids.” Ray Guntrum added, “Seeing the kids’ smiles and hearing their ‘thank yous’ touched my heart.”❤️
Shoutout to students Jace Hilliard, Heather Cruz, Gage Adams, Brandilynn Yearick, Dominick Gathers, and Jaylynn Abate—your enthusiasm makes this program meaningful! ⭐️
