Community Central European Tour Set for Summer of 2021
NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (RVO) by Cecelia Harmon – Dr. Joseph Harmon, a teacher at Redbank Valley High School is offering an experience of a lifetime to students and community members, a tour of Central Europe slated for the summer of 2021. Even though this trip is targeted at students, it is not a RVHS field trip. And so, parents, grandparents, and community members are invited to join in on the European tour, led by Dr. Harmon.ย

In addition to this trip, a new Travel Club has started at Redbank Valley High School. This club has over eighty (80+) members and is advised by Dr. Harmon. The RV Travel Club seeks to provide information about and opportunities for students to travel before graduating high school.ย
Newly elected president, 11th grade Clara Gourley, thinks that the Travel Club will aid in her cohorts ability to engage in traveling experiences that they may not have been able to before:
โTravel Club enables teenagers to go places outside of their comfort zone and experience the world outside of New Bethlehem. Itโs a great opportunity and will teach the members how they can travel.โ
