For more than 7 years, this annual tradition has helped students connect with local government in a meaningful way. 🏛️ Students asked questions about becoming mayor, responsibilities, salary, and real community issues.
Mayor Barrows shared opportunities through Junior Council & Junior Chamber programs, offering pathways for leadership, scholarships, and networking. 🤝🎓 Students also received business cards for future job references & letters of recommendation. 💼📇
The classes concluded with a lively Q&A on major projects including the Community Playground & Park, entrepreneurship, the former Rite Aid Building, University Korner Gas Station, and local business/job growth. 🏗️🌆
