Wreaths Across America invites family members, friends, and community members to honor their loved ones who served by purchasing wreaths for placement at their grave sites. Each wreath costs $17, ensuring every veteran is remembered with dignity and gratitude.

This year’s ceremony promises to be extra special! The American Legion will host a commemorative event on December 14th at 1:00 PM at the Redbank Valley Veterans Memorial Park, located at 407 Arch Street, New Bethlehem, PA. Following the ceremony, the community will come together to lay wreaths at veteran gravesites. In a moving tribute, each veteran’s name will be spoken aloud to ensure their legacy endures.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Smucker’s, which generously donated over $800 toward this initiative. Mike McSparrin proudly presented the check to Ray Ishman on behalf of the Smucker’s Peanut Butter Factory, reinforcing their commitment to honoring local heroes.

The Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce also stepped up in a big way, contributing funds to purchase 20 wreaths for local veterans. Chamber President John Gerow presented the donation to Ishman on behalf of the Chamber Directors, showcasing the community’s dedication to remembering its own.
