NB Borough Council meet RV Superintendent & NB Fire Co

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (RVO) – This past week has been quite busy for members of the New Bethlehem Borough Council and the New Bethlehem Police Department as they met with various community leaders and organizations.

Council met with the Redbank Valley School District Superintendent Dr. John Mastillo and School Board president Dr. Chad Shaffer at their last Borough meeting. Dr. Mastillo and Dr. Shaffer communicated the school district’s intention for continuously supporting the community. Dr. Mastillio shared his ‘open door’ communication policy and his vision for working with local government officials.

In other news, New Bethlehem Police Chief Robert Malnofsky along with Borough Council met with the New Bethlehem Fire Company this past week to discuss efforts to make our community safer. Cross-training, K-9 unit and various emergency procedures were reviewed with the hopes of improving efficiency and effectiveness of local police, fire and EMS personnel.

MEETINGS:
New Bethlehem Borough meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Alltel/Windstream Building on Lafayette Street. Folks may contact the Borough’s office to be placed on the meeting agenda.
