This particular YWAM mission is Arts based. The focus spreads across all of the areas of art including: culinary, photography, story-telling, fine arts, and music. YWAM seeks to help students create art that both glorifies God as the great creator and allows Him to speak through it.

Harmon will first travel to Amsterdam, Netherlands for a 12 week Discipleship Training School (DTS). During the DTS, students will learn and grow in faith and have missionary training, spreading the gospel throughout Amsterdam. After completing the DTS, Harmon will then be sent to a different country to serve as a missionary for the remainder of the time. The outreach location has not been set by YWAM yet. Past outreach locations have included: India, South Africa, Georgia, and Curacao.

Natalie first heard about the organization through her New Zealand pen-pal, Amber Parsons:

After hearing my friend, Amber, tell me about YWAM and all of the work that they do, I felt called to get the discipleship training and to also serve as a missionary. I am excited to see how God uses this experience to glorify His name.”
