Our team here at RedbankValley.Org does not want anyone (vampire, werewolf, or witch) to miss out on any of the spooky scary fun, so we have compiled a list of all things creepy taking place in and around the Redbank Valley area this year!

Trick-or-Treat Night

Location: New Bethlehem and South Bethlehem Borough
Date: October 31st
Time: 6 – 8 p.m.
Cost: FREE

Everyone is welcome to trick-or-treat in both the NB and SB boroughs on all hallow’s eve. New Bethlehem Fire Company will be hard at work ensuring the safety of all the trick-or-treaters. Hawthorne Borough Trunk-or-Treat

Location: Hawthorne Volunteer Fire Company
Date: October 31st
Time: 5 – 7 p.m.
Cost: FREE

Even though the kids will not be going from house to house, Hawthorne’s trunk-or-treat will not be lacking in any fun. There will be hotdogs, drinks and most importantly, CANDY! Hayrides and games will be set up for the kids.

Halloween Parade
*Family Friendly
Location: Redbank Valley High School
Date: October 25th
Time: 6:30 – 8 p.m.
Cost: FREE

The Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce and the New Bethlehem Lion’s Club host their annual Halloween costume contest. Even if you are not donning creepy or creative garb, you are still welcome to sit and enjoy the parade of the costumes to music by the Redbank Valley High School Marching Band. Haunted Dorms
*All welcome, but may be frightening for young children
Location: Clarion University, Ballentine Hall
Date: October 25th, 26th
Time: 7 – 10 p.m.
Cost: FREE *Donations taken for Clarion Cancer Center

For just one weekend, Ballentine Hall is transformed into a Haunted House of your worst nightmares! Various Clarion University clubs, teams, and organizations each work to spookify a room — all for a good cause. This event is open to the public, and everyone is welcomed. However, it may be frightening for young children.

Pumpkin Chunkin’

Location: New Bethlehem VFW
Date: October 27th
Time: 1 – 6 p.m.
Cost: FREE

If you ever wondered what would happen if you launched a pumpkin into the sky, then look no further! New Bethlehem VFW hosts their annual Pumpkin Chunkin’ where everyone is welcome to come and watch pumpkins fly through the crispy autumn sky. Not Too Scary Nighttime Hayrides

Location: Paul’s Pumpkin Patch

Time: 7, 8, & 9 p.m.
Cost: $6 a person (Children under 2 are FREE)

Clarion University Baseball’s Haunted House
*All welcome, but may be frightening for young children
Location: Clarion University, Given Hall
Date: October 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, 27th
Time: 7 – 11 p.m.
Cost: $10 a person

The athletes of Clarion University’s Baseball team are hosting a two weekend long haunted house that is sure to send shivers down your spine. The cost for this experience of your worst nightmares is only $10. While the baseball players welcome anyone who dares enter, this may be too frightening for young children.
