Before Peter Cotton-Tail comes hopping along the trail, our team here at RedbankValley.Org wants to remind every single marshmallow Peep of all of the events taking place in the area so that everyone can partake in the hippity hoppity fun!

Redbank Valley Church Association Easter Sunrise Service

Up from the grave He arose! Everyone is welcome to celebrate the resurrection of Christ! The service will be full of hymns and Scripture readings. Breakfast will follow the service.

Lion’s Club Easter Egg Hunt

Bring all the kids to hunt for lots of bright and colorful Easter eggs left by the Easter Bunny himself. Be sure to bring your own bag or basket and most importantly: BE ON TIME!!

Easter Bingo

For a family-friendly way of celebrating the holiday, you can stop by the Fire Hall for a fun night of Bingo! This event will also feature other games if you need a Bingo break, and the kitchen will be open! Proceeds will go to support the New Bethlehem Fire Company.

Annual Fish And Chicken Dinner

Anyone who partakes in Lent or loves fish will want to enjoy a delicious meal from the Fire Company. It is your choice of chicken or fish, two sides, and a dessert! Take outs are available. Proceeds will go to support the New Bethlehem Fire Company.

Women’s Prayer Breakfast

Location: New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church

Women of all ages are welcome to take a break from the Easter egg hunts and share in a time of Christian fellowship, food, and prayer at the Women’s Prayer Breakfast. Women’s Prayer Breakfasts are held the first Thursday of every month at 8am at the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. This time of fellowship usually includes a special speaker and breakfast is a donation. All are welcome!

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

Men of all ages are welcome to take a break from the Easter egg hunts and share in a time of Christian fellowship, food, and prayer at the Men’s Prayer Breakfast. On the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month, area men gather together for food, fellowship, prayer and to hear a challenging message from a pastor, missionary or ministry. During Lent, we gather every Thursday. Men of all ages are welcome to fellowship with us!

This event is open for all believers of all denominations to gather together in prayer over the community. Those in attendance will walk through New Bethlehem, lifting the community up in prayer.

“JESUS” Sight & Sound Trip

Location: Redbank Valley Public Library/Sight and Sound Theater (Lancaster)

Unfortunately, the tickets to this event are all sold, but we wanted to take the time to highlight it, regardless. Please ask those who are going to take lots of pictures for the people staying home!

Library Easter Egg Hunt

While you are browsing for some light springtime reading, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some special surprises hidden throughout the library. Every child is welcome to find up to four Easter eggs each day — hidden by the Easter bunny himself!

Easter Bunny Photo-Op

The Easter Bunny has made time out of his very busy schedule to stop by the Library to take photos with everyone this year! There will also be crafts and a special springtime storytime for the kids. Be sure to ask the Easter Bunny if he like carrots!

On Good Friday, elementary age children are all invited to the First United Methodist church to have a fun morning learning about the real meaning of Easter.

Believers from all denominations are invited to remember the Last Supper in a special Maundy Thursday Service.
