PHOTOS: 🙏 This morning at Evermore’s Restaurant in New Bethlehem, PA, our Men’s Prayer Breakfast was filled with inspiration! ✝️
Lay speaker Randy Neiswonger shared his incredible journey—from a shy kid who rarely spoke in class to a man transformed by God’s love. At age 12, during a weeklong revival, Randy’s anxious heart found peace when he prayed and surrendered his life to Christ. That life-changing moment led him to serve as a Sunday school teacher for decades, guiding young hearts, baptizing his grandchildren, and even taking bold steps in business by acquiring RMS Furniture—with God opening doors even in the toughest times!
Despite challenges like the 2008 recession and personal hardships, Randy’s unwavering faith and the power of prayer carried him through. Inspired by a Daily Bread devotional on Luke 19:21 and John Wesley’s story, he embraced his call as a lay speaker, proving that anyone—even someone untrained—can share God’s word when led by the Holy Spirit. His message, anchored in Matthew 9:35-38 (“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” 🌾✝️), reminds us that every trial is a step closer to Christ and that nothing great happens without prayer.
Randy even joked about hoping to live to 100 just to keep spreading the Gospel! Let Randy’s testimony encourage you to trust God in every season. Amen! 🙌💖
