Redbank Valley hosts Community Clean-up 2018

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (RVO) – Spring is here and it’s time for the annual Redbank Valley Community Clean-up as part of the Great American Clean-up of PA sponsored by Redbank Renaissance and the Redbank Valley Trails Association. The Annual Community, Creek and Trail Clean Up will be April 21st starting at 9 am at Gumtown Park.

Many hands make light work and there’s plenty to do. Bring a shovel, rake or pick up litter. Bags and gloves will be provided.

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS:
Community Service Certificates will be available.

Volunteers need help readying the gardens for planting, sidewalks swept, trail ditches cleaned and litter and brush picked up. Volunteers will branch out as far as they can to pick up litter and clear brush throughout the Redbank Valley.

LUNCH BY SUBWAY:
If anyone would like to participate, please meet at Gumtown Park on Saturday, April 22nd at 9 AM.  We’ll work until noon with lunch provided by Redbank Valley Subway and Redbank Renaissance for those who work that morning.

CONTACT US:
Please RSVP to 814-275-1718 or by email at [email protected] so we can have enough gloves, water, litter bags and lunch on hand for participants and to plan cleanup areas.
