🌍🍞 Grateful Hearts on World Communion Sunday 🙏🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at New Bethlehem First Fellowship Church, in person and online, and to all who shared in Holy Communion on World Communion Sunday as one body in Christ.

Special thanks to Rev. Dr. Gordon Barrows for leading the sacrament of Holy Communion and for sharing today’s message: “From Pews to Practice: Daily Life in the Word.” Scripture: James 1:22, Colossians 3:17, John 13:34–35 📖

3 Practical Takeaways to Live This Week:
1. 🧭 Be a doer of the Word: choose one concrete step of obedience to practice each day.
2. 🏷️ Put Jesus’ name on everything: ask, “Can I do this in Jesus’ name,” then do it with gratitude.
3. ❤️ Show visible love: offer one small act of care daily, notice someone, encourage them, and serve.

Ministry Thank Yous:
A heartfelt thank you to organist Dave Green, pianist Debbie Green, AV technician Matthew Green, and choir director Bill Young for blessing our service with their gifts and dedication. 🎶🎹🎤💻

Road Rally Fun:
We also want to thank everyone who joined us today for our annual road rally. We pray you enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship, fun, and food. 🚗🗺️🍽️ *Photos courtesy of Grace Dimmett 📸

🌍🍞 World Communion Sunday | Morning Worship - 10/5/25
📍 Join us in person or online | 🕙 10:00 AM
🎙️ Message by Rev. Dr. Gordon Barrows
📖 “From Pews to Practice – Daily Life in the Word”
Scripture: James 1:22, Colossians 3:17, John 13:34–35

This Sunday, we gather around the Lord’s table with believers across the globe to celebrate World Communion Sunday- a powerful reminder that we are one body in Christ, united in love and purpose.

Rev. Dr. Barrows will challenge us to take God’s Word beyond the pews and live it out in our daily lives- with every word we speak and every act of love we offer. As James says, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.”

Come ready to worship, reflect, and be inspired to live your faith boldly. And as always—there’s a place for you here. 💛

✨ What a Powerful Morning of Worship! ✨

Today’s service was blessed with a heartfelt message from special guest speaker Joe Belfield, who shared “God, Are You There?” from Jeremiah 29:11. His story of transformation as a Marine Corps veteran, survivor, and author reminded us that God’s hope and redemption are real and available to all.

📖 Three Practical Lessons from Joe’s Message:
1. Even in our darkest valleys, God is present and working for our good.
2. True healing begins when we surrender our past to Christ.
3. God’s plans give us purpose, hope, and a future filled with His love.

🙏 Special thanks to Choir Director Bill Young, Organist Dave Green, Pianist Debbie Green, and AV Technician Matthew Green for making today’s worship extra meaningful.

1️⃣ God is the Potter, and we are the clay: stay moldable in His hands.
2️⃣ When God speaks, listen and respond with obedience.
3️⃣ Trust His shaping process, for His plans are always for our good.

A heartfelt thank you to organist Dave Green, pianist Debbie Green, AV technician Matthew Green, and choir director Bill Young for blessing our service with their gifts and dedication. 🎶🎹🎤💻

✨ What a Blessed Sunday! ✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s worship service with Pastor Carol Brown. Her message, “Prayers of Wisdom” from 1 Kings 2:10–12; 3:3–15, reminded us of the importance of seeking God’s guidance in every season of life. 🙏

Here are three practical takeaways from Pastor Carol’s message:
1️⃣ True wisdom begins with a heart fully surrendered to God.
2️⃣ Prayer is not about asking for riches or power, but for discernment to live rightly.
3️⃣ When we honor God first, He blesses us with what we need and more.

A special thank you to our amazing worship team: 🎶 Choir Director Bill Young, Organist Dave Green, Pianist Debbie Green, and AV Technician Matthew Green for helping us lift our praises to the Lord!
