NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (RVO) – Santa is coming to town as the New Bethlehem Police Department and New Bethlehem Fire Company prepare for the Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce ‘Christmas Parade’ and New Bethlehem Fire Company’s ‘Snack w/ Santa.’
RV CHAMBER:
The Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is this Saturday, December 7th @ 1:00pm with the New Bethlehem Fire Company’s Snack w/ Santa immediately following the parade at the Fire Hall.

NB FIRE COMPANY:
Each year, immediately following the Christmas parade, the New Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Company helps organize the ‘Snack w/ Santa’ event by calling on local businesses and community members to donate items for a special ‘goodie bag’ that is provided to each of the approximately 200 local children who excitedly crowd the Fire Hall hoping to see Santa and Mrs. Clause.
‘Snack w/ Santa’ event chairwoman Marsha Fox, along with her committee; Barry Fox, Wayne Livingston, Brian Fox, Bruce Young, Lisa Fox, and the many other volunteers of the fire company help to organize this event each year to spread Christmas joy and good cheer to all the families and their children throughout the New Bethlehem area and Redbank Valley community.
Mrs. M. Fox shared, “We do it for the kids – we love to see their smiles and the joy it brings them when they receive a Christmas treat!”
Ms. L. Fox also chimed in, “It’s a great way for the kids to engage with our local firefighters and first responders.”
