Support Armstrong County's business and community leadership

Armstrong County Industrial Development Council

Help connect economic opportunity with local needs. Ask the nonprofit Industrial Development Council about board consideration or a suitable project role supporting northern Armstrong and the wider county.

Armstrong County, including northern Armstrong communities

How to get involved
  1. Contact the Council's economic-development office and explain your community and professional interests.
  2. Ask which governing body or nomination process applies to the Council and whether a project or advisory role is a useful starting point.
  3. Review the expected responsibilities, confidentiality and conflicts rules before agreeing to serve.

The Council describes itself as a private nonprofit and publishes a board. It is distinct from the governmental Industrial Development Authority. Do not assume Council membership or board selection follows the county Authority's appointment process; confirm the correct body and current rules directly.
