MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST RECAP 4/17/25
“We Must Become More Like Christ” ✝️☕️
PHOTOS: This morning at Evermoore’s Restaurant, Pastor Phil Conklin shared a powerful and convicting message with the men gathered for breakfast, fellowship, and prayer. 📖🍽️ He preached from Matthew 26:14–16, focusing on the betrayal of Jesus by Judas for 30 pieces of silver 💰—a decision made despite witnessing Jesus heal the sick, feed the multitudes, and offer love to the broken. 🙌
Pastor Phil asked a sobering question: “How could Judas betray Jesus after seeing so much?” The answer? The enemy found a foothold in Judas’ heart. 😔 Just like Judas, we face daily temptations, and the enemy still seeks to deceive and destroy. But through Christ, we have the power to resist, forgive, and live in victory! ✝️💪
Key Takeaways:
1️⃣ We all face temptations (money, addiction, pride).
2️⃣ Christ gives us strength to overcome—“Turn the other cheek” through Him. 🔄
3️⃣ We must choose to walk in Christ and say “No” to sin. 🚫
