Troop 403 hales from New Bethlehem Pennsylvania. The Troop was founded in 2011. We are still shaping the troop with the hope it will continue to grow and change for the better with every new boy and leader. Cub Scouts Pack 403 meets Mondays @ 7 pm at New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church

Cub Scouting is “Fun with a Purpose” and Pack 403 is proud to serve the young men of the Redbank Valley area.

MISSION: To prepare the young men of the Redbank Valley area to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in the values of the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack. And to help them “Do Their Best!!!”

We invite all Kindergarten through 5th grade boys to come and check us out. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, and shoot a bow and arrow. Do you like to hike, bike and fish? Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Do you want to send a secret code to a buddy or build a bird house? You can do all this and more with Pack 403 and Cub Scouts.

Pack 403 is chartered by New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. We serve the young men of the Redbank Valley area in grades 1st through 5th. We meet every Monday night at 7pm at New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, with Pack meetings occurring every third Monday night of the month. The New Bethlehem Barbershop Harmony Group meets every Tuesday at 7pm @ New Bethlehem Fire Hall

Mission: The New Bethlehem Barbershop Harmony Group brings men together in harmony and fellowship to enrich lives through singing

Barbershop harmony is a style of unaccompanied vocal music characterized by consonant four-part chords for every melody note in a predominantly homophonic​ (the same word sounds at the same time)​ texture. The melody is consistently sung by the lead​ (second tenor)​, with the tenor ​(first tenor) ​harmonizing above the melody, the bass singing the lowest harmonizing notes, and the baritone completing the chord. Occasional brief passages may be sung by fewer than four voice parts.

  • To perpetuate the old American institution, the Barbershop quartet, and to promote and encourage vocal harmony and good fellowship among its members.
  • To encourage and promote the education of its members and the public in music appreciation.
  • To promote public appreciation of Barbershop quartet and chorus singing by publication and dissemination thereof.
  • To initiate, promote and participate in charitable projects.
  • To establish and maintain music scholarships and charitable foundations.
  • To initiate and maintain a broad program of musical education, particularly in the field of vocal harmony and the allied arts.

The Redbank Valley Municipal Park (RVMP) offers many recreation opportunities for the whole family including camping, roller skating, tennis, horse shoe & shuffle board courts, and a great playground for the kids.

RVMP is host to several annual community events including the Clarion County Fair, a Bluegrass Music Festival, and an annual ATV Poker Run. A large reception hall is available for rental. It is ideal for Weddings, Fundraisers, as well as private roller skating parties. Large picnic shelters are available to rent for your next family reunion, employee picnic or any outdoor get together.

The campground in Redbank Park offers full hook-up sites for your RV and tent camping. Water and electric primitive sites are available at minimum cost. Camp sites are available by the year, month, week, or day. The Redbank Park Commission is made up of representatives from Redbank Townships in Clarion and Armstrong County as well as Porter Township, South Bethlehem Borough and Hawthorn Borough.

If you are camping all season or just spending the day Redbank Valley Municipal Park has something for the whole family. Come out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and friendly people our community has to offer.
